Hungry for More Star Wars: Buy the Galaxy’s Edge Cookbook

Yes, nerds are foodies too.

If you are clamoring for some of the delicacies seen enjoyed and imbibed by the Rebel Alliance or even the Empire sneaking a midnight snack, Disney has answered your indulgent prayers.

THR reports Disney’s grandiose theme park, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, is publishing a cookbook. If you have spent any time inside a Disney themed park, you know the food can be as entertaining as the rides and attractions.

Here is the official description of the cookbook:

“This exciting new cookbook is inspired by the cuisine from Disney’s hugely anticipated theme park expansion, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Based on the delicious delicacies found in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu, this cookbook provides Star Wars fans with a wealth of delicious intergalactic recipes. Engaging, fun, and informative, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Cookbook is the definitive guide to the delectable cuisines of a galaxy far, far away.”

In case you aren’t interested in giving Disney a little more money (because we all know they could use a buck or two), here are just a few edible options for your perusal and empty stomach, care of InsideTheMagic:

The Fried Endorian Tip-yip is a fried chicken dish with roasted vegetable mash and herb gravy. (David Roark/Disney Parks)
The Smoked Kaadu Ribs features smoked country sticky pork ribs with a blueberry corn muffin and cabbage slaw. (David Roark/Disney Parks)
The Ithorian Garden Loaf is a plant-based “meatloaf” dish served with roasted vegetable mash, seasonal vegetables, and mushroom sauce. (David Roark/Disney Parks)
The Roasted Endorian Tip-yip Salad features marinated chicken with mixed greens, roasted seasonal vegetables, quinoa and pumpkin seeds with a creamy green curry ranch dressing. (David Roark/Disney Parks)

The Bright Suns Morning features three-cheese egg bite, pork sausage, purple potato hash, and a mini Mustafarian lava roll. (David Nguyen/Disney Parks)

And that blue bile milk of wooly banthas that made Luke’s beard glisten in the island breeze? It’s there too. A new hope…for some Pepto Bismol, anyone?
