Can you create your top five action movies of all time? Better yet, if you were among a group of cinephile friends, could you draft a team of five surefire action movie hits? To that, we say, “Put on your big boy pants and let’s get started!”
If you missed it, we have done a couple of great movie genre drafts on our podcast “Down the Rabbit Hole.” Our great horror movie tournament is ending, which means it is time to deep dive into another genre. This time, we need an adrenaline spike — action movies!

Lock in Your Calendars for Action, Nov 7-8
On November 7 and 8, 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT, MoviesMatrix will bring you an action movie draft of Xenomorph Queen proportions! The draft will consist of 20 teams — each to select their favorite five action films available in the draft. And like always, we’re doing it live on our Podcast both nights.
Each team will be entered into a single-elimination tournament where the winners will be selected and voted on Twitter by you. The champion of the tournament will be crowned with the ultimate form of respect as the Action Cinephile Grand Champion!
